NESTLER Newsletter – 1st Newsletter

We are pleased to present the 1st newsletter of NESTLER, offering a comprehensive overview of the project’s news, recent developments and ongoing activities. We invite all stakeholders, policy makers, researchers, farmers, and agri-tech providers, to stay informed and engaged with NESTLER’s ongoing work.

NESTLER is a joint project between the EU and African member states designed to promote One-Health sustainable partnership. With the collaboration of partners across Europe and Africa, the project aims to bring together interdisciplinary technological advances to effectively monitor the well-being of animals, plants, and humans in a holistic approach.

In Rwanda, the Livestock and Marine farming pilot is being led by the Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB). The first trial, P.RWA.1, involves livestock and will be conducted in Muhanga. The second trial, P.RWA.2, is located in Nkungu Aquaculture and Fisheries Research site.
