The project coordinator visited the NESTLER pilots in Rwanda. In total, the project’s outcomes will be demonstrated on pilot scenarios across six African member states (Cameroon, Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Kenya, Nigeria). In Rwanda, the Livestock and Marine farming pilot is being led by the Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB). The first trial, P.RWA.1, involves livestock and will be conducted in Muhanga. The second trial, P.RWA.2, is located in Nkungu Aquaculture and Fisheries Research site. To emphasise the importance of pilots, the project coordinator (Synelixis), represented by Dr. Th. Zahariadis and Dr. G. Athanasiou visited the RAB pilots to monitor the progress.
